When you register be sure to use your FIRST name and LAST name (monikers, boat names and handles are not acceptable).
Use upper and lower case, don't fall into "lazy email syndrome" Firstname Lastname with a space between them. You will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Follow the directions to confirm your e-mail address.
Pictures should be in JPG format and be 640 by 480 in size. You choose the album you wish to place them in, but they have to be approved first before they will appear. This process is normally completed twice a day (morning and evening) Monday through Friday but could take as long as 3 to 5 days. Keep uploading, you don't have to wait for approval before you upload more.
The administrators have located a FREE program that will allow you to batch resize your photos without compromising the integrety of your original photos. This program will run on Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP & VISTA. After extensize testing in the Elflab we've found that this program to be just what you need to resize photo for uploding to the albums, it's simple to use and works as advertised. "Even if this fails to impress you, just remember to ask yourself: How many other photo hosts employ elves?"
